This animation was created using the Paper technique, meaning all the designs are hand-drawn and original. It was Fatemeh Nasiri Fard’s thesis project. I had previously collaborated with her on the animation “Ibrahim in the Fire” and was very excited and motivated to work with her again.
The story of Boom is highly conceptual, exploring the style of Impressionism and its contrast with Realism.
The music for this work has an orchestral and cinematic atmosphere, and many of my close friends believe it is one of my best compositions for animation.
