Rahim Behboodifar

Rahim Behboodi Far is a young and creative director in the Iranian film industry. Although he hasn’t fully realized his potential yet, he has already made significant contributions. I got to know Rahim through a good friend named “Hossein Mirzaian.” At one point, Rahim faced challenges with the title track of his latest film, and Hossein recommended me to him. The title track was composed and performed, resulting in a commendable outcome. Later, Rahim directed the film “Iron Man,” which was quite challenging. The film had two musical segments, and envisioning how they would fit with the visuals before actual filming began was a difficult task. Nevertheless, the film’s music was created, and we even used the voice of “Reza Sadeghi” in the final credits, making it more captivating. “Iron Man” received the Best Film award from the audience’s perspective at the Isfahan Children’s Film Festival. His next film, “Hashtag,” was equally intriguing. Rahim wanted something different for the film’s music, not just in terms of melody but also in execution. After several discussions, we settled on an “a cappella” approach, where all melodies are performed using human voices. “Hashtag” succeeded at the box office due to its whimsical fantasy theme and strong ticket sales during its release. Rahim remains one of my good friends, and I hope he continues to create remarkable works that match his deserving talent
